The project aims to increase knowledge about BTV3 in cattle in Sweden, in order to provide updated, evidence-based advice to farmers so that they can make well-considered decisions about measures to reduce disease, animal suffering and economic losses in their agricultural businesses.

The project will be implemented by a project group from the Swedish Veterinary Agency (SVA), Farm and Animal Health (G&D), Växa Sverige and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) with experts in epidemiology, virology, animal health, preventive animal health work and advice.
