Research area Antibiotic resistance and use of antibiotics

I am a veterinarian and have worked with various aspects of the use of antibiotics and the occurrence of antibiotic resistance. Mainly, it has been about monitoring use in animals and resistance among bacteria from animals as well as resistance epidemiology regarding vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE) and gram-negative intestinal bacteria that produce beta-lactams with an extended spectrum (ESBL).
