Rådjur i salladsodlingar – utgör de en risk för zoonotisk smita av Kryptosporidier?

The aim of this project is to investigate the occurrence of Cryptosporidium spp. in Swedish roe deer and to also identify what species and subtypes of this parasite that they may be hosting. This to better determine if roe deer may be a potential risk of spreading zoonotic Cyptosporidium on vegetable fields and in doing so contaminating the crops used for human consumption.
